Post Acne Scars

Series of treatments
Technology: Micro needling

Severe cases of acne that have not been addressed properly may leave traces in the face in the form of indented scars that look like pimples. In older people, these scars are compounded by small wrinkles that may deepen the scar and further compromise one’s appearance.

Acne scars take a year to become permanent, so the earlier they are treated, the better and the faster one can heal them. Fortunately, one can treat and get rid of acne scars, but the right time to do so is when , the face is pimple-free with no risk of their return. If acne returns. it may lead to the creation of new scars, so treatment is pointless.

As a rule, acne scars are formed when there isn’t enough collagen present in the healing process of the pimple. Collagen is a fibrous protein found in connective tissue, and it is what gives it shape and strength. Therefore, absence of sufficient collagen means a deficit in the skin tissue, and scars that resemble holes or indentations in the skin.

Micro-needling is a treatment that uses repeated puncturing of the skin using tiny needles that pierce the skin but don’t go through it. During this procedure we insert into the canals formed by the needles specialized quality ingredients that brighten the skin and prevent migration of melanin, to restore the skin and .stimulate creation of missing collagen and elastin.
